Writings from

Los Angeles, 2015

A narrator finds a box of anonymous texts and decides they mean something. Fragments of poetry, notes scribbled on napkins, drunken confessions, quiet hallucinations and small disasters. Together they form a portrait that keeps shifting.
All pointing back to a closed-down Chinese restaurant — and perhaps, to the narrator himself.

Writings from Datong China Bistro is a hybrid work of fiction and poetry of around 15,000 words.
Manuscript available upon request.
